A London Smoking and Mental Health webinar will be held on 10 June, 12:30–2pm, bringing together clinical leaders, tobacco dependency teams, lived experience partners and lung health specialists from across London.
This session will focus on improving lung health for people with mental health conditions, strengthening pathways into lung cancer screening, and supporting successful quit attempts in inpatient and community settings. The webinar will include:
- Lung health awareness – the importance of early diagnosis, screening and tailored approaches for people with mental health conditions
- Inequalities in lung cancer pathways – insights from SEL and NCL programmes
- Supporting quit attempts – prescribing challenges, barriers in mental health settings, and real‑world outcomes from tobacco dependency teams
- Lived experience perspectives – what matters to service users and how we can improve support
- Panel discussion
